A process for producing a detergent powder or a composition therefor involving partial granulation in a high or low shear granulator followed by granulation in a very low shear mixer, for example a fluid bed is disclosed. The process allows powders to be produced over a wide range of bulk densities without the use of a spray-drying step.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un détergent en poudre ou une composition pour ce détergent, consistant à effectuer une granulation dans un granulateur à cisaillement élevé ou bas, suivie par une granulation dans un mélangeur à cisaillement très bas, par exemple dans un lit fluidisé. Le procédé permet de produire des poudres ayant une densité apparente choisie dans une plage très large, sans étape d'atomisation.
