The process for preparing mevalonolactone compounds is carried out by means of batch system chromatography or a simulated moving bed chromatographic process using columns filled with an optical resolution filler comprising a poly- saccharide derivative. The simulated moving bed chromato- graphic process comprises forming a circulation flow circuit comprising a plurality of columns endlessly connected in series; enforcing a fluid to flow through the circuit in one direction; providing the column series alternately with an inlet port through which the fluid is introduced into the column in the flow direction and with an outlet port, through which the fluid is taken out; intermittently shift- ing activation of the inlet port and the outlet port in the direction of the fluid flow; introducing a solution contain- ing a racemic mevalonolactone compound and an eluent through an inlet port into the circuit; and simultaneously taking out a solution rich in the weakly adsorbable substance and a solution rich in the strongly adsorbable and desorbed sub- stance through the outlet port.
Un composé de mévalonolactone est obtenu par un procédé de chromatographie par lots fractionnée ou de lit pseudo-mobile. Ces deux procédés utilisent une colonne remplie d'une matière de remplissage de résolution optique constituée d'un dérivé de polysaccharide. Selon le procédé de lit pseudo-mobile, des colonnes montées en boucle sans fin constituent un circuit d'écoulement dans lequel le fluide est mis en circulation forcée dans un sens. Les colonnes sont pourvues, en alternance, par rapport au sens de circulation du fluide, d'orifices d'admission permettant l'introduction du fluide dans la colonne, et d'orifices d'évacuation permettant le soutirage du fluide de la colonne. Les positions de ces orifices d'admission et d'évacuation se déplacent par intermittence dans le sens de circulation du fluide, introduisant dans le circuit d'écoulement par les orifice d'admission une solution contenant un racémate d'un composé de mévalonolactone ainsi qu'un éluant. Simultanément, ce déplacement permet le soutirage par les orifices d'évacuation d'une solution enrichie de non-adsorbats et d'une solution enrichie en adsorbats.
