A process for preparing a physically stable crystalline ~-modification of para-aminobenzenesulfanylamide comprises cooling a para-aminobsnzenesulfanylamlde solution in water or an organic solvent at rate of at least 2°C/min to complete crystallization thereof and subsequently separating the resulting crystals and drying thereof.

Le procédé d'obtention d'une modification gamma-cristalline physiquement stable de para-aminobenzène sulfanilamide de l'invention consiste à refroidir une solution de para-aminobenzène sulphanilamide dans de l'eau, ou dans un solvant organique, ou bien dans un mélange de ceux-ci à l'aide d'un agent de refroidissement à une vitesse d'au moins 2 C/min jusqu'à ce que la solution soit entièrement cristallisée, les cristaux ainsi formés étant ensuite extraits et séchés.
