A process for producing a fibrous material, comprising a lignocellulosic material with phenolic or similar structural groups, and a signalling agent, said process comprising the steps of oxidizing phenolic or similar structural groups of the lignocellulosic matric to provide an oxidized fibre material, and directly, or via a tagging agent binding to the oxidized fibre material with a signalling agent which is capable of providing the lignocellulosic fibre material with properties foreign to the native fibre so that the fibres or products prepared therefrom can be detected. The signalling agent bonded to the fibres makes it possible to identify the product, trace it, and to use it as a security/anti-counterfeit product.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un matériau fibreux qui comprend un matériau lignocellulosique comportant des groupes phénoliques ou de structure similaire, ainsi qu'un agent de signalisation. Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant à oxyder les groupes phénoliques ou de structure similaire de la matrice lignocellulosique pour former un matériau fibreux oxydé, et directement, ou par l'intermédiaire d'un agent de marquage, mettre en contact le matériau fibreux oxydé avec un agent de signalisation pouvant conférer au matériau fibreux lignocellulosique des propriétés étrangères à la fibre naturelle de sorte que les fibres ou les produits ainsi préparés puissent être détectés. L'agent de signalisation lié aux fibres permet d'identifier le produit, de suivre sa trace et de l'utiliser comme produit de sécurité/anti-contrefaçon.
