The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a gypsum product wherein wherein calcium sulphate hemihydrate and/or calcium sulphate anhydrite and water are contacted sothatso that the calsiumcalcium sulphate hemihydrate and/or calcium sulphate anhydrite and the water react with each other and form a gypsum product. The rectionreaction mixture has a dry matter content of 34- 84 % by weight in order to obtain a gypsum product which consists of crystals that are small, flat and of as equal size as possible. The invention also realatesrelates to a product prepared by this process. A gypsum product is formed which consists of essentially intact crystals having a size of between 0.1 and below 2.0 µm. The products are applicapleapplicable e.g. as fillers or coating pigments in e.g. paper industry.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'un produit de gypse, suivant lequel du sulfate de calcium au semi-hydrate et/ou du sulfate de calcium anhydrite et de l'eau sont mis en contact de telle sorte que le sulfate de calcium au semi-hydrate et/ou le sulfate de calcium anhydrite et l'eau réagissent l'un avec l'autre et forment un produit de gypse. Le mélange réactionnel a une teneur en matières sèches de 34-84 % en poids de façon à obtenir un produit de gypse composé de cristaux qui sont petits, plats et de dimension aussi égale que possible. L'invention porte également sur un produit préparé par ce procédé. Un produit de gypse est formé, composé essentiellement de cristaux intacts ayant une dimension entre 0,1 et au-dessous de 2,0 µm. Les produits sont applicables par exemple comme charges de remplissage ou comme pigments de couche, par exemple dans l'industrie du papier.
