The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a copolymer of ethylene and a monomer copolymerisable therewith. The polymerisation takes place in a tubular reactor at a peak temperature between 290~C and 350~C, the co monomer is a di-or higher functional (meth) acrylate and the co monomer is applied in an amount between 0.008 mol% and 0.200 mol% relative to the amount of ethylene copolymer.

La polymérisation s~effectue dans un réacteur tubulaire à une température de pointe comprise entre 290°C et 350°C, le co-monomère étant un di(méth)acrylate ou un (méth)acrylate de fonctionnalité supérieure, et étant introduit dans une quantité allant de 0,008 mol% à 0,200 mol% par rapport à la quantité de copolymère d~éthylène.
