A novel process is described for the preparation of the active principle pantoprazole based on the use of novel intermediate compounds of general formula (I) where X is an atom of halogen and n = 0 or 1, so that when n = 1, the intermediate compounds are methoxylated, and when n = 0 said intermediate compounds are first oxidized to n = 1 and thereafter are methoxylated. Also described are the novel intermediates, as well as the process for the preparation thereof.
L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé de préparation du principe actif pantoprazole, lequel procédé est basé sur l'utilisation de nouveaux composés de produits intermédiaires représentés par la formule (I), dans laquelle X représente un atome d'halogène et n = 0 ou 1, de façon que lorsque n = 1, les composés de produits intermédiaires soient méthoxylés, et que lorsque n = 0, lesdits composés de produits intermédiaires soient d'abord oxydés en n = 1 et ensuite méthoxylés. L'invention concerne également de nouveaux produits intermédiaires, ainsi que des procédés de préparation de ceux-ci.
