The invention provides a process for the production of a condensation product selected from the group consisting of an amide and an ester of a carboxylic acid from an organic compound selected from the group consisting of organic compounds carrying a hydroxyl group and organic compounds carrying an amine group and from a concentrated medium resulting from fermentation, said medium containing a salt of said acid, said salt being selected from the group consisting of a sodium salt, a calcium salt and mixtures thereof and said medium being at a pH of at least the pKa of said acid, said process comprising reacting said medium with said organic compound and with CO2, whereby said condensation product and a salt selected from the group consisting of sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, calcium bicarbonate and mixtures thereof are formed; and, separating said condensation product from the reaction mixture formed in the previous step.
L'invention a trait à un procédé de production d'un produit de condensation choisi dans le groupe constitué d'un amide et d'un ester d'un acide carboxylique provenant d'un composé organique choisi dans le groupe constitué de composés organiques porteurs d'un groupe hydroxyle et de composés organiques porteurs d'un groupe amine ainsi que dans un milieu concentré résultant d'une fermentation. Ce milieu contient un sel dudit acide, ce sel étant, quant à lui, choisi dans le groupe constitué d'un sel de sodium, d'un sel de calcium et de leurs mélanges et la valeur du pH du milieu étant au moins égale à celle du pKa dudit acide. Le procédé consiste à faire réagir le milieu avec le composé organique ainsi qu'avec du CO2, ce qui forme le produit de condensation et un sel appartenant au groupe constitué de carbonate de sodium, de bicarbonate de sodium ainsi que de carbonate de calcium et de bicarbonate de calcium et de leurs mélanges. On sépare ensuite le produit de condensation du mélange réactionnel formé lors de la phase précédente.
