The invention regards a process for the production of ramoplanin-like derivatives of formula (I): RAMO-NC-CO-R (I), wherein the radical R represents a hydrocarbon radical and the portion RAMO-NH- represents deacylated ramoplanin, any of its factors or ramoplanose. The compound of Formula (I) are obtained by reacting a carboxylic acid R-COOH with deacylated ramoplanin, any of its factors or ramoplanose protected on the ornitine amino groups. New compounds wherein the hydrocarbon radical R is different from those characaterizing the ramoplanin and ramoplanose natural products and their tetrahydro-derivatives are calimed. The new compounds have the same or better antinfective activity, lower haemolytic effect and better tolerability profile than ramoplanin.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à produire des dérivés de type ramoplanine représenté par la formule (I): RAMO-NC-CO-R. Dans cette formule, le radical R représente un radical d'hydrocarbure et la partie RAMO-NH- représente une ramoplanine désacylée, un de ses facteurs ou la ramoplanose. Les composés représentés par la formule (I) sont obtenus par mise en réaction d'un acide carboxylique R-COOH avec de la ramoplanine désacylée, un de ses facteurs ou de la ramoplanose protégée sur des groupes amino d'ornitine. L'invention concerne également de nouveaux composés, le radical d'hydrocarbure R étant différent de ceux caractérisant les produits naturels de ramoplanine et de ramoplanose et leur dérivé tétrahydro. Les nouveaux composés de l'invention présentent la même ou une meilleure activité anti-infective, des effets hémolytiques réduits et un profil de tolérabilité supérieur à celui de la ramoplanine.
