A process for unifying the benchmark criteria in theoretical knowledge and practical skills and the trainee within an electronic environment that is independent of traditional didactic methods and consisting of three components: 1) An interactive software program that utilizes a host computer to store the benchmark criteria and allow the trainee to master individual theory components contained in that benchmark database, and assesses that trainee's knowledge acquisition through individual testing components; 2) An electronically sensorized training mannequin for use as an objective device upon which to apply and measure acquired skills against the benchmark criteria through the systematic practice, analysis and testing of practical skills; and 3) A separate electronic interface that utilizes micro-processor technology to interrogate the electronic sensors of the training device, objectively translate the data and send it in unbiased parallel form to the host computer's parallel port in order that the trainee's performance of all required elements and protocols can be tracked and analyzed for the purpose of interpretation and evaluation in relation to the benchmark criteria.
