A QUICK RELEASE, SMOKE OPERATED, COAXIAL STABLE DOOR LOCK, WHICH IS FITTED TO A STABLE DOOR, AND REPLACES THE EXISTING BOLT KEEP. WHEN THE TUBE OF THE LOCK IS EXTENDED, TO COVER THE END OF THE BOLT, THE DOOR IS SECURED. IN THE EVENT OF SMOKE BEING PRODUCED, IN THE STABLE, OR (STALL), THE SMOKE ALARM ACTIVATES, THUS CLOSING A RELAY, AND SO ENERGIZING THE ELECTROMAGNETIC COIL 5, IN THE LOCK, RELEASING A TRIGGER 1, WHICH ALLOW'S THE TUBE TO RETRACT, AND THE DOOR TO OPEN.
