The arrangement has at least one retractable steered wheel, and comprises : at least one wheel rotatably mounted on a steerable leg member (18); said leg member (18) being pivotably mounted on pivot means which is pivotable around a substantially horizontal axis (30) relative to a hull of said amphibious vehicle, said axis also being transverse to a longitudinal direction of travel of said hull; a steering arm member (28) operably connected to said steerable leg member (18); means to raise said wheel by pivoting said wheel about said horizontal axis; wherein an end of said steering arm member remote from said steerable leg member is closely adjacent said horizontal axis and operably connected to steering arm moving means.
L'invention concerne un ensemble comportant au moins un galet dirigé rétractable, et au moins un galet monté rotatif sur un élément de tige dirigeable (18), ledit élément de tige (18) étant monté pivotant sur un moyen de pivot, et pouvant pivoter autour d'un axe sensiblement horizontal (30), par rapport à une caisse du véhicule amphibie, ledit axe étant également transversal par rapport à une direction longitudinale de course de la caisse; un élément de bras de direction (28) étant relié de manière opérationnelle à l'élément de tige dirigeable (18); un moyen permettant d'élever ledit galet en le faisant pivoter autour de l'axe horizontal; une extrémité dudit élément de bras de direction étant éloignée dudit élément de tige de direction, et étant étroitement adjacente audit axe horizontal et pouvant être reliée de manière opérationnelle au moyen du déplacement du bras de direction.
