The invention relates to a nozzle comprising a mobile divergent section (20) and a fixed part (16) which is solidly connected to the rear end of the combustion chamber (12) of the engine. According to the invention, a connection device is articulated to the gimbal mount and connects the mobile divergent section of the nozzle to the fixed part of same, the mobile divergent section and the fixed part being in contact with one another by means of the respective spherical surfaces (24a, 16a) thereof. Moreover, an actuation device (50a, 50b) acts on the mobile divergent section of the nozzle so that the direction of the thrust vector of the engine can be varied by altering the orientation of the nozzle, whereby the aforementioned spherical surfaces slide on top of one another. Elastic return means (62, 64), which are disposed between the mobile divergent section of the nozzle (20) and the fixed part (16), act on the mobile divergent section in order to move said section towards the fixed part so that the above-mentioned spherical surfaces (24a, 16a) remain in contact for any desired nozzle orientation.

La tuyère comprend un divergent mobile (20) et une partie fixe (16) solidaire du fond arrière de la chambre de combustion (12) du moteur. Un dispositif de liaison articulée à cardan raccorde le divergent mobile de tuyère à la partie fixe, le divergent mobile et la partie fixe étant en contact mutuel par des surfaces sphériques respectives (24a, 16a), et un dispositif d'actionnement (50a, 50b) agit sur le divergent mobile de tuyère pour pouvoir faire varier la direction du vecteur de poussée du moteur par modification de l'orientation de la tuyère avec glissement des surfaces sphériques l'une sur l'autre. Des moyens (62, 64) de rappel élastique sont interposés entre le divergent mobile de tuyère (20) et la partie fixe (16) et agissent sur le divergent mobile pour le rappeler vers la partie fixe afin de maintenir les surfaces sphériques (24a, 16a) en contact mutuel pour toute orientation désirée de la tuyère.
