Described is a roller mill (1) for grinding particulate material such as cement raw materials, cement clinker and the like, said roller mill (1) comprising a grinding table (3), a set of rollers rotatable about a vertical shaft (5), said set of rollers comprising a number of rollers (4) rotating about separate roller shafts (6), which are connected to the vertical shaft (5), and a nozzle ring (7) for directing gases into the roller mill (1), said nozzle ring (7) enclosing the grinding table (3), and means (8) for regu-lating the gas flow through the nozzle ring (7). The roller mil is peculiar in that at least some of the regulation means (8) are arranged to ro-tate together with the set of rollers. In order to ensure optimum regulation of the gas flow through the nozzle ring in relation to the uneven load imposed by the material, thereby optimiz-ing the roller mill operation in terms of capac-ity, grinding efficiency and energy consump-tion, the position of at least some of the regula-tion means for regulating the gas flow through the nozzle ring relative to the set of rollers re-mains the same at all times. The gases which are introduced into the mill via the nozzle ring will, therefore, always exhibit the same flow pattern in relation to the set of rollers.

L'invention porte sur un broyeur à meules (1) de matériaux particulaires tels que les matières premières du ciment, du clinker de ciment etc. Ledit broyeur (1) comprend: un plateau de broyage (3); un jeu de meules tournant autour d'un arbre vertical (5), ledit jeu de meules comprenant plusieurs meules (4) tournant autour d'axes horizontaux séparés (6), reliés à l'arbre vertical (5); un anneau porte-buses (7) entourant le plateau (3) et dirigeant du gaz sur le broyeur (1), et des moyens de régulation (8) du débit du gaz alimentant les buses via l'anneau (7). Le broyeur (1) se caractérise en ce qu'au moins une partie des moyens de régulation (8) sont conçus pour tourner avec le jeu de meules. Pour assurer une régulation optimale du débit du gaz dans l'anneau (7) adaptée à la charge irrégulière imposée par les matériaux, et optimiser le fonctionnement du moulin en termes de capacité, d'efficacité du broyage et de consommation d'énergie, la position d'au moins certains des moyens de régulation (8) du débit du gaz reste la même à tout moment. Ainsi le gaz introduit dans le broyeur via l'anneau (7) conservera un même débit par rapport aux différentes meules.
