A rotary fluid-displacement assembly having a housing and a rotor positioned within an internal cavity of the housing. The rotor being configured to rotate about a rotor axis of rotation eccentric to a housing longitudinal axis. A gate is also provided that is slidably mounted therewith the rotor and movable axially about and between a first position, in which a distal end of the gate is positioned at a first distance from the peripheral surface of the rotor, and a second position, in which the distal end of the gate is positioned at a second distance from the peripheral surface of the rotor. The distal end of the gate being constrained to be spaced proximate from the inner wall surface of the housing as the rotor rotates about the rotor axis of rotation.
Ensemble à déplacement de fluide rotatif comprenant une enceinte et un rotor situé dans une cavité interne de l'enceinte, ce rotor ayant une configuration qui lui permet d'entrer en rotation autour d'un axe rotor de rotation excentrique par rapport à un axe longitudinal de l'enceinte. Il existe en outre une porte montée en mode coulissant avec le rotor et mobile axialement, d'une part autour d'une première position, et d'autre part entre une première position dans laquelle une extrémité distale de la porte se trouve à une première distance de la surface périphérique du rotor, et une seconde position dans laquelle l'extrémité distale de la porte se trouve à une seconde distance de ladite surface. L'extrémité distale de la porte est soumise à une contrainte qui permet d'espacer la porte par rapport à la surface de la paroi interne à mesure que le rotor tourne autour de son axe de rotation.
