L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'analyser un inhibiteur de cystéine protéase qui renforce l'activité inhibitrice de la cystéine protéase en présence d'ions métalliques polyvalents, qui consiste à traiter la cystéine protéase avec un composé d'essai en présence d'ions métalliques survenant in vivo.
