The present invention pertains to a novel gene of Bifidobacteria and to the polypeptides encoded thereby. In particular, the present invention pertains to a gene belonging to the Serpin superfamily and its use in the production of bacterial Serpins. Also provided are vectors, host cells, and methods for producing bacterial Serpin polynucleotides and/or polypeptides.
La présente invention concerne un nouveau gène de bifidobactérie et les polypeptides codés par ce dernier. L'invention se rapporte en particulier à un gène qui appartient à la superfamille des serpines et à son utilisation dans la production de serpines bactériennes. L'invention concerne enfin des vecteurs, des cellules hôtes et des procédés de production de polynucléotides et/ou polypeptides de la serpine bactérienne précitée.
