A side plow assembly for an automotive vehicle, particularly a lightweight vehicle such as a ligthweight truck, pick-up or like vehicle, and then particularly a four-wheel drive vehicle. The assembly includes a plow share mounted on one side of the vehicle. Seen in the normal direction of travel of the vehicle, the front end of the plow share is pivotally connected to the vehicle chassis by joint means. The rear pan of the share, as seen in the travel direction, is connected to a rear chassis part by means of an elongated bracing means whose length can be varied for adjustment of the angle of the side share in the horizontal plane relative to the travel direction. The bracing means is also pivotally connected to the chassis. The assembly also includes a lifting device which is connected between the plow share and the vehicle and functions to lift the share away from a ground surface and to lower the share into contact with the ground surface respectively.
L'invention concerne un ensemble charrue latéral destiné à un véhicule, notamment un véhicule léger tel qu'un camion léger, une camionnette ou un véhicule similaire et, plus particulièrement, un véhicule à quatre roues motrices. L'ensemble comprend un soc monté sur un côté du véhicule. Vue dans le sens normal de déplacement du véhicule, l'extrémité frontale du soc est fixée pivotante au châssis du véhicule par un moyen d'articulation. La partie arrière du soc, vue dans le sens de déplacement, est reliée à une partie postérieure du châssis par une attache allongée dont la longueur peut varier pour permettre l'ajustement de l'angle du soc latéral dans le plan horizontal par rapport au sens de déplacement. L'attache est également montée pivotante sur le châssis. L'ensemble comprend également un dispositif de levage monté entre le soc et le véhicule ainsi que des fonctions qui permettent de soulever le soc du sol et de l'abaisser jusqu'au sol.
