The present invention relates to a training and exercise device and more specifically a sparring, timing and eye-hand coordination training device providing the user with a target ball suspended and slidably adjustable upon a resilient cord with a weighted base securing the lower end of the cord, a means of adjusting the tension at the upper end of said cord and a means of securing the upper end of the cord overhead to a sound structure. An appropriately weighted base, a resilient cord and a means to secure the upper end to a sound attachment point means the exercise space can remain flexible; set the base beneath the attachment point, adjust the height of the target ball, hook the upper end of the cord in place and set the tension. When done the user unhooks the upper end of the resilient cord, safely bundles said cord and target ball, moves the base away for storage and the exercise area is open again.
