Vacuum allows free passage of electric current. An electric wire is designed to take advantage of free passage of electric current in vacuum, and to maintain its capacity and strength. The new electric wire consists of hollow vacuum sections and solid nodes. The function equation works as follows: resistance reduced, current increased, watts transmitted greater than that of solid wire with the same diameter, length, and materials at a given time in a given environment. To make the new electric wire a special device is designed. A pin in the center of the device is up and down controlled by an electromagnet. When the pin is up, solid node is made. And when the pin is down, hollow vacuum section is then formed. The new electric wire can be made up to any rational order of specification. Benefits of the invention include: a. Electricity transmitted, at a given time and voltage, increased, because of free passage of electric current in vacuum sections. b. Environmental friendly, less heat, less radiation, and less noise, due to reduced resistance. c. Power lost in heat in transmission reduced. d. Less cost, because of lighter weight, savings in materials used to make, in transportation, and in supporting materials. e. Last longer, because of less heat in use. f. As a result of the above benefits, overall efficiency and cost- effectiveness is enhanced. A lower voltage can be used to perform same level of function of solid wire at a higher voltage. Resistance occurs only at nodes of the new electric wire. g. Application in circuit, from a solid node to load and then back to the solid node through adjacent hollow vacuum section in either sides. In the circuit between load and the solid node the new electric wire can be used to provide the opportunity for more branch circuits in between. A system of circuit can be designed as practical application required. h. Products of this invention can include filament or other wires made of any materials in any forms or shapes for any uses or purposes, as long as wires or products consist of hollow vacuum sections. -1-
