The invention relates to a stab-resisting material, which material consists of a carrier coated with solid particles, which is provided on a packet of fabrics, wherein the coating on said carrier consists of abrasive particles having a diameter of 0.1 - 3 mm, and wherein the packet of fabrics is thicker than 1.5 mm. The invention also relates to the coated carrier, wherein the abrasive particles have been provided on the carrier by means of an adhesive, which forms an elastic film after curing. In particular a fabric made of Aramid or Nylon® fibres may be used as the carrier material. The preferred adhesive is a bituminous adhesive or an adhesive with a base of polyurethane. This material is used in particular in protective clothing.
L'invention concerne une matière résistant aux coupures et composée d'un support revêtu de particules solides, lequel support est placé sur un empilement d'étoffes, le revêtement déposé sur le support étant constitué de particules abrasives possédant un diamètre de l'ordre de 0,1 à 3 mm, et l'empilement d'étoffes étant supérieur à 1,5 mm. L'invention concerne également le support revêtu, sur lequel les particules abrasives ont été déposée au moyen d'un adhésif formant un film élastique après durcissement. Il est possible d'utiliser une étoffe de fibres d'Aramide ou de Nylon3, en tant que matière du support. L'adhésif préféré est un adhésif bitumineux ou un adhésif à base de polyuréthanne. On utilise la matière de l'invention notamment dans des vêtements de protection.
