Disclosed are (1) a stabilizer against hydrolysis, which can solve conventional problems of a carbodiimide compound to be compounded in an easily hydrolysable resin, such as poor heat resistance and a coloring problem due to yellowing, and can provide more enhanced resistance against hydrolysis, and (2) a thermoplastic resin composition of the easily hydrolysable resin in which the stabilizer is compounded. More concretely, the stabilizer against hydrolysis comprises (A) an aliphatic carbodiimide compound and (B) a phosphorus antioxidant, preferably dispersed and present in the carbodiimide compound by admixing the phosphorus antioxidant (B) during synthesis of the carbodiimide compound.
