A process for producing substances capable of inducing apoptosis characterized by involving the step of heating at least one compound selected from among the following compounds (a) to (d), provided that uronic acid and/or uronic acid derivatives and compounds containing uronic acid and/or uronic acid derivatives are excluded therefrom: (a) pentoses; (b) pentose derivatives; (c) compounds containing pentoses; and (d) compounds containing pentose derivatives.
Ce procédé de production de substances capables de provoquer l'apoptose se caractérise par le fait que, dans l'une de ses étapes, on chauffe au moins un composé issu du groupe constitué par les composés (a à d) énoncés ci-dessous et ce, à condition que ces composés soient exempts d'acide uronique et/ou de dérivés d'acide uronique ainsi que de composé renfermant de l'acide uronique et/ou des dérivés d'acide uronique. Les composés permettant la production desdites substances sont les suivants: (a), des pentoses, (b), des dérivés de pentose, (c), des composés contenant des pentoses et (d), des composés contenant des dérivés de pentose.
