A support member for supporting a visual display (17) is disclosed. The support member comprises a resilient section (3) that is adapted to bend in response to contact of a moving object with the visual display (17) to allow the visual display to deflect from the path of movement of the object and is adapted to return the visual display to its original position following the contact with the object. The resilient section (3) is formed from a plurality of planar members arranged side by side and bonded together by adhesive. Each planar member comprises at least part of the tread and the underlying carcass of the motor vehicle tyre.
La présente invention vise un élément servant à supporter un dispositif d'affichage (17). L'élément support comporte une section résiliente (3) conçue pour fléchir lorsqu'un objet mobile entre en contact avec le dispositif d'affichage (17), de manière à éloigner ce dernier de la trajectoire de l'objet, puis à le ramener à sa position première une fois l'objet passé. La section résiliente (3) est constituée d'une série d'éléments plans disposés côte à côte et liaisonnés au moyen d'un adhésif. Chaque élément plan est constitué d'une partie de bande de roulement et de carcasse sous-jacente de pneu d'automobile.
