A reduced pressure treatment system includes a porous pad (122) positioned at a tissue site and a canister (142) having a collection chamber (166), an inlet (152), and an outlet (156) The inlet (152) is fluidly connected to the porous pad (122) A reduced pressure source (134) is fluidly connected to the outlet (156) of the canister such that fluid from the tissue site may be drawn into the collection chamber (166) A hydrophobic filter (160) is positioned adjacent the outlet (156) to prevent liquid from exiting the collection chamber (166) through the outlet A baffle (210) is positioned within the canister (142) to create a tortuous path between the mlet and the outlet to prevent premature blocking of the hydrophobic filter (160)
La présente invention concerne un système de traitement à pression réduite qui comprend un tampon poreux disposé sur un tissu et un absorbeur doté dune chambre de collecte, dune entrée et dune sortie. Lentrée est en communication fluidique avec le tampon poreux. Une source de pression réduite se trouve en communication fluidique avec la sortie de labsorbeur de manière à permettre au fluide présent sur le tissu de se déplacer vers la chambre de collecte. Un filtre hydrophobe est placé à proximité de la sortie afin déviter que le liquide ne séchappe de la chambre de collecte par la sortie. Un déflecteur est installé dans labsorbeur afin de créer un passage sinueux entre lentrée et la sortie pour prévenir le blocage prématuré du filtre hydrophobe.
