A system and method for presenting a series of Web pages comprises several steps. A user is provided with a plurality of Web pages. The user must proceed through a series of these Web pages in order to arrive at a final destination. Web pages containing advertisements are placed at various locations in the series of Web pages. The advertisements are displayed to the user for a predetermined period of time, and the user is forced to view the advertisement before continuing with the series of Web pages.
