The system described is for controlling the flow of a fluid fuel towards burner apparatus for the direct heating of the surrounding environment. The system comprises a main duct (C) for transferring the fluid from a supply element to the burner apparatus, a plurality of elements (V1, V2) interposed in the duct (C) for cutting off the flow, and at least one electrically-supplied flow-regulation element (V3) which is interposed in the duct (C) and can adopt an operative position for allowing the fluid to flow in the absence of an electrical supply.
