A guiding system for guiding a moldset (28) onto a molding machine (10). The guiding system includes guide grooves (74) on each side of a core plate (52) of the moldset (28) and guide slots (110) on a face of the machine (10). A slightly raised surface (112) is provided in a top portion of the guide slots (116) and a wedge shaped portion (126) is provided at a base of the guide slots (110). The moldset (28) is inserted into the machine (10) by guiding the grooves (74) into the guide slots (110). The slightly raised portion (112) initially moves the core plate (52) away from the face and the wedge shaped portion (126) forces the core plate (52) into firm contact with the face when the moldset (28) is substantially loaded into the machine (10). The face may be a face of a movable platen (32) or a face of a hot runner (34).

L'invention porte sur un système de guidage permettant de guider un moule sur une machine de moulage. Le système de guidage de l'invention comprend des rainures guides de chaque côté d'une plaque porte-noyau du moule et des fentes de guidage sur une face de la machine.
