A system for the sale of consumer goods, wherein the system comprises a device for providing a customer with a non-validated token that represents an article of merchandise. The article is to be paid for by the customer at a checkout unit when the token is checked by said unit. Said checkout unit has a means for prividing a validated token that bears a transaction code. Said checkout unit has a means for communicating with an article dispensing device and providing the article dispensing device with said transaction code after the article has been paid for. The validated token is used to obtain the purchased article from the article dispensing device with the aid of a comparator device within the article dispensing device which compares the transaction code on the validated token with the transaction code communicated by said communication device, wherein the article dispensing device delivers the purchased article when there is a defined code correspondence.
La présente invention se rapporte à un système pour la vente de biens de consommation, qui comprend un dispositif permettant de délivrer à un client un jeton non validé représentant un article de marchandise. L'article doit être payé par le client auprès d'une unité de contrôle lorsque le jeton est vérifié par ladite unité. Ladite unité de contrôle comporte un moyen de délivrance d'un jeton validé portant un code de transaction. Cette unité de contrôle possède également un moyen permettant de communiquer avec un dispositif de distribution d'articles et permettant de délivrer auxdits dispositifs de distribution d'articles le code de transaction après que le paiement correspondant à l'article ait été effectué. Le jeton validé est utilisé pour obtenir l'article acheté à partir du dispositif de distribution d'articles au moyen d'un dispositif de comparaison intégré au dispositif de distribution d'articles, qui compare le code de transaction sur le jeton validé avec le code de transaction transféré par ledit dispositif de communication, le dispositif de distribution d'articles délivrant effectivement l'article acheté lorsqu'il existe une correspondance de codes définie.
