A system for transporting piece goods which comprises at least one output track for conveying piece goods from an entrance to an exit, the entrance being at a higher level than the exit. In order to prevent damages of the transported piece goods and to obtain a better utilization of the transport capacity of the system, the latter is characterized in that said at least one output track is disposed between the entrance and the exit, and in that the output track includes at least two sections in its longitudinal direction which have different adhesive properties and form different angles with respect to a horizontal plane.
