A method for coating a surface, in particular a surface of a medical device, with a drug, comprises depositing the drug coating on the surface; applying energy to the drug coating to increase molecular mobility; and allowing cooling of the coating to form a conformable coating without degradation of the drug. The system to deposit a drug on a surface, in particular on a surface of a medical device, comprises means for depositing the drug on the surface; means for temporarily heating the drug to increase molecular mobility and elimination of microcracks.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à revêtir une surface, et notamment une surface d'un dispositif médical, d'un médicament, et consistant à déposer le médicament sur cette surface, à appliquer une énergie sur le revêtement médicamenteux en vue d'en augmenter la mobilité moléculaire, puis à permettre le refroidissement du revêtement de sorte à former un revêtement adaptable sans dégradation du médicament. Ce système destiné à déposer un médicament sur une surface, et notamment sur une surface d'un dispositif médical, comprend une unité permettant de déposer le médicament sur la surface et une unité servant à chauffer temporairement le médicament en vue d'une augmentation de la mobilité moléculaire et d'une élimination des microfissures.
