A teat unit for use for a disposable package comprising an upwardly extending teat part, and intermediate cover plate and a downwardly extending insertion part. The cover plate has the same extent as the area of the package side on which the teat unit is placed, and the insertion part is provided with holding means, adapted to hold the opening rim in direct sealing engagement at the downwardly facing side of the cover plate. This provides a teat unit which ensures that a baby's mouth will not contact said package side which may be contaminated by bacteria.

La plaque de couverture (2) présente une surface équivalente à celle du côté de l'emballage où doit se placer l'ensemble tétine, et la partie d'insertion (4) est pourvue de moyens de retenue (5, 6) conçus pour maintenir le bord de l'ouverture en un contact étanche direct avec le côté orienté vers le bas de la plaque de couverture (2). Cela permet d'obtenir un ensemble tétine assurant que la bouche du bébé n'entrera pas en contact avec ledit côté de l'emballage, lequel pourrait être contaminé par des bactéries.
