A TEST METHOD ABSTRACT A test method for testing a procedure or apparatus for processing a flowable material is described. The method involves carrying out the procedure or operating the apparatus on the test fluid comprising a substance which, in the presence of a free radical, is modified into a detectably different form and, thereafter, analysing the test fluid for said detectably different form. The preferred test substance is thymine.
