The present invention is a solid dosage form of a metal complex of tetracycline of Formula (I) for pharmaceutical administration, (I) wherein R1 = Cl, N(CH3)2, or H; R2 = CH3, H, or CH2=; R3 = CH3, H, OH, or absent; and R4 = OH or H, with the proviso that if R2 is CH3 and R3 is H, then R4 is not OH.
