The present invention relates to a therapeutic agent for Parkinson's disease containing as an active ingredient a polycyclic compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, the compound being represented by the following Formula (I): Image (I) in which, R1 represents hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted lower alkanoyl; R2 represents hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; R3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; X represents a single bond, O, S, S(O), S(O)2, or NR4 (in which R4 represents hydrogen, or substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl; or R2 and NR4 are combined to form a substituted or unsubstituted 4 to 6-membered saturated heterocyclic group); and A represents N or CR5 (in which R5 represents hydrogen, or substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl), or represented by the following Formula (II): - 27 - Image (II) in which R6 represents substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; Y represents O, S, or NR7 (in which R7 represents hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted aryl); R8 represents hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkynyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; and B and the adjacent two carbon atoms are combined to form a substituted or unsubstituted, partially saturated or unsaturated, monocyclic or bicyclic, carbocyclic or heterocyclic group.

L'invention concerne un remède contre la maladie de Parkinson qui contient comme principe actif un composé polycyclique représenté par la formule générale (I) ou (II) ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de ce dernier. Dans la formule (I), R<1> représente hydrogène, alkyle inférieur ou alcanoyle inférieur; R<2> représente hydrogène, alkyle inférieur, alcényle inférieur, cycloalkyle, aryle, aralkyle ou hétérocycle; R<3> représente hétérocycle; X représente une liaison unique, O, S, S(O), S(O)2 ou NR<4>, R<4> représentant hydrogène, alkyle inférieur etc. et A représente N ou CR<5>, R<5> représentant hydrogène ou alkyle inférieur. Dans la formule (II), R<6> représente aryle ou hétérocycle; Y représente O, S ou NR<7>, R<7> représentant hydrogène ou alkyle inférieur; R<8> représente hydrogène, alkyle inférieur, alcényle inférieur, alcynyle inférieur, cycloalkyle, aryle, aralkyle ou hétérocycle; et B représente conjointement avec les deux groupes voisins un cycle mono, bi ou hétérocyclique.
