A thermal container for preventing heat from escaping from melting metal therein includes a housing, a thermal trough mounted within the housing, a sand layer enclosing the thermal trough, a heat resistant layer enclosing the sand layer, wherein the thermal trough is divided by a partition into a warming chamber, an inlet chamber communicated with the warming chamber, an outlet chamber communicated with the warming chamber, and a temperature measuring chamber communicated with the warming chamber and the outlet chamber.
