A tool for polishing knife~s edges, the tool (1) comprising two oppositely positioned and co-rotating rings of elongate honing studs (10), extended at intersecting directions forming an angle (.alpha.) wherein the knife~s edge is inserted to be straightened by the rotating polishing tool.
