A universal bookholder which receives a book therein in a folder type, and which is portable and usable anywhere at any time to allow a user to read a book thereon is disclosed. The universal bookholder includes a pair of cover members for forming an inner space to receive a book therein when folded and for supporting both sides of the book when being opened, a supporting unit combined between the pair of cover members so as to be folded with the cover members, a string installed in the supporting unit to traverse papers of the book for fixing the received book, at least one guide member mounted in the pair of cover members, and a clamp movably combined to the guide member for fixing a paper of the received book.

L'invention porte sur un porte livre universel portable de type chemise recevant un livre et en permettant la lecture en tous temps et en tous lieux. Ledit porte-livre comporte: une paire de couvertures délimitant une fois refermées un espace intérieur recevant le livre et supportant les deux côtés du livre lorsqu'ouvertes; un élément support lié à la paire de couvertures et se pliant avec les couvertures; une cordelette placée dans l'élément support et traversant les pages du livre pour le maintenir; au moins un élément de guidage monté sur la paire de couvertures; et une pince mobile associée à l'élément de guidage et maintenant en place les pages du livre.
