The present invention relates to a stable compacted, compressed or hard tableted vaccine composition comprising at least one freeze dried antigenic component and a dissolution aid. A method to facilitate immunizing a subject against a disease comprising the steps of first dissolving the compacted, compressed or hard tableted vaccine composition in a package with a diluent to form a vaccine solution, and administering the resulting vaccine solution in an amount effective for immunizing is also provided.

L'invention concerne une composition stable de vaccin se présentant sous forme de comprimés compacts ou durs et contenant au moins un constituant antigénique lyophilisé et un adjuvant de dissolution. Elle concerne également un procédé servant à faciliter l'immunisation contre une maladie et consistant à d'abord dissoudre la composition de vaccin sous forme de comprimés compacts ou durs dans un diluant, de manière à obtenir une solution de vaccin, et à administrer cette solution en quantité efficace dans le but d'effectuer l'immunisation.
