A vehicle (42) and method for storing ozone is disclosed. A vehicle (42) made of a water miscible, organic compound of a glycol-containing chemical compound, a tertiary alcohol or a mixture thereof that is capable of receiving and containing ozone is disclosed. The method involves producing ozone gas, introducing the ozone-containing gas into a mixing vessel (16) that contains the aforementioned organic compound (42), agitating the organic compound (42) in the presence of the ozone-containing gas, wherein the ozone-containing gas is at atmospheric pressure or at a pressure of up to about 150 psig., and releasing the pressure if pressures in excess of atmospheric are used.
La présente invention concerne un véhicule (42) et un procédé de stockage d'ozone. L'invention concerne en l'occurrence un véhicule fabriqué à partir d'un composé organique qui est miscible avec l'eau et qui contient un composé chimique rassemblant du glycol, un alcool tertiaire ou l'un des mélanges entre le glycol et l'alcool tertiaire, ce composé étant capable de recevoir et de contenir de l'ozone. Le procédé considéré consiste à produire un gaz à l'ozone, à introduire le gaz contenant l'ozone dans une bouteille de mélange (16) contenant le composé organique déjà cité (42), à agiter le composé organique en présence du gaz contenant l'ozone, le gaz contenant l'ozone étant à pression atmosphérique ou à une pression pouvant atteindre environ 150 psig, puis à détendre la pression si l'on opère sous une pression supérieure à la pression atmosphérique.
