A venturi feed device (30) includes a bore (32, 32A) for flow of a first fluid. The bore (32, 32A) includes a constricted region (40) followed by a divergent region (46) downstream of the constricted region (40). One or maybe more openings (50) is provided in the divergent region (46), the openings being connectable to a source of a second fluid. The venturi feed device may include a projection (62) extending at least partially into the divergent region (46) so as to induce flow along the wall(s) (34) of the divergent region (46). The venturi feed device (30) may be provided in a fluid mixing device (10, 80) for mixing the first and second fluids. The venturi feed device (30) may be removably received within the fluid mixing device (10, 80). Furthermore, a washing assembly is provided in which the fluid mixing device (10, 80) is portable and connectable to respective sources of the first and second fluids. The assembly further includes a washing pad or mitt (100) through which the mixed first and second fluids are dispersed. The pad or mitt (100) is connected to the fluid mixing device (10, 80) by a length of conduit (108) sufficient to enable a user to hold the portable mixing device (10, 80) in one hand and the washing pad of mitt (100) in the other.
