An enclosed vessel assembly for transporting and storing unpackaged material is disclosed. An aluminum vessel (10) is inserted into an openable end of a conventional steel shipping container (400), and secured therein such that unpackaged goods may be efficiently and inexpensively transported and stored using such containers. The aluminum vessel (10) includes a rigid, elongated, closed-ended, cylindrical aluminum body (12) having having a rear end (16) which is accessible through the openable end of the shipping container (400). Disposed on the rear end (16) of the body (12) of the vessel (10) are a fill pipe through which unpackaged materials may be loaded into the vessel assembly, a conical discharge assembly (13) for enabling a pneumatic tank trailer to be connected thereto to extract unpackaged materials from the vessel assembly, and at least one vent (22) for facilitating the extraction of goods through the discharge assembly using a pneumatic tank trailer.
L'invention concerne un ensemble cuve fermée destiné au transport et au stockage de matériaux en vrac. On introduit une cuve en aluminium (10) dans l'extrémité pouvant s'ouvrir d'un conteneur d'expédition classique en acier (400), et on la fixe de sorte que les marchandises en vrac soient transportées et stockées de manière efficace et à moindre frais, en utilisant de tels conteneurs. La cuve en aluminium (10) comporte un corps (12) en aluminium cylindrique, allongé, rigide, et fermé à ses deux extrémités, dont une extrémité arrière (16) est accessible par l'extrémité pouvant s'ouvrir du conteneur d'expédition (400). Au niveau de l'extrémité arrière (16) du corps (12) de la cuve (10) sont disposés un tuyau de remplissage permettant le chargement des matériaux en vrac dans l'ensemble cuve, un ensemble de décharge (13) conique permettant le rattachement d'un semi-remorque citerne pneumatique pour extraire les matériaux en vrac de l'ensemble cuve, et au moins une prise d'air (22) destinée à faciliter l'extraction de marchandises par l'ensemble de décharge à l'aide d'un semi-remorque citerne pneumatique.
