To make it possible to quietly operate air-controlled bedding, which comprises a quilt and a futon and controls the sleeping environment by supplying warm air or cool air to the quilt and futon, when used at a hospital or at home, thereby creating a more comfortable sleeping environment. An air intake 2 is provided at either the left-hand side or right-hand side of the air blower unit 1. The air taken in from the air intake 2 flows through the interior of the air blower unit to a fan 3, which is positioned relatively far away from the air intake 2. The fan 3 blows the air through a heater chamber 4 and out of the blower through two air outlets 5, 6 that are arranged one above the other. One or both of the air outlets 5, 6 are equipped with a shutter 7 or shutters 7, 8.
