A washer assembly for a threaded fastener said assembly including a first washer portion having an aperture through which the threaded fastener is to pass, and a surface surrounding said aperture; and a second washer portion, said second washer portion having an aperture through which the fastener is to pass, the second portion having a surface surrounding the aper-ture of the second portion and being positioned to abut the surface of the first portion and to be urged into contact therewith upon tensioning of the fastener; and wherein the surface of said second portion extends beyond the aperture of said first portion when the surfaces abut, the aperture of said first portion is dimensioned to provide for relative movement between the portions with the apertures aligned to provide for the insertion of the threaded fastener therethrough, and said surfaces have cooperating projections and recesses that inhibit relative movement between the portions when the threaded fastener is tensioned urging the surface of said second portion against the surface of said first portion.

L'invention porte sur un ensemble rondelle pour un organe de fixation fileté, ledit ensemble comprenant une première partie de rondelle ayant une ouverture à travers laquelle l'organe de fixation fileté doit passer, et une surface entourant ladite ouverture ; et une seconde partie de rondelle, ladite seconde partie de rondelle ayant une ouverture à travers laquelle l'organe de fixation doit passer, la seconde partie ayant une surface entourant l'ouverture de la seconde partie qui est positionnée pour venir en butée contre la surface de la première partie et pour être poussée en contact avec celle-ci lors du serrage de l'organe de fixation ; la surface de ladite seconde partie s'étendant au-delà de l'ouverture de ladite première partie lorsque les surfaces viennent en butée, l'ouverture de ladite première partie étant dimensionnée pour permettre un déplacement relatif entre les parties avec les ouvertures alignées afin de permettre l'introduction de l'organe de fixation fileté à travers celles-ci, et lesdites surfaces ayant des saillies et des creux coopérants qui empêchent un déplacement relatif entre les parties lorsque l'organe de fixation fileté est serré, poussant la surface de ladite seconde partie contre la surface de ladite première partie.
