This invention relates to a water purification apparatus having many uses. It comprises a main member in the form of tube. Said tube is vertically provided within a tank. The top open of the tube is connected to a suitable elbow. An air stone is disposed within the tube. The air stone is connected with an outer air pump by means of an air inlet tube. The apparatus also comprises a vessel. The outlet of elbow is adapted to extend to the top of the vessel. The interior of the vessel is filled with suitable filter. An outlet is attached to the bottom of the vessel. The apparatus can be operated with low cost. High level of dissolved oxygen and good effect of filtration can be obtained by operating the apparatus of the invention.

L'invention concerne un dispositif purificateur d'eau polyvalent comprenant un organe principal sous forme de tube disposé verticalement à l'intérieur d'un réservoir. L'ouverture supérieure du tube est reliée à un coude adéquat. Dans le tube se trouve un matériau pierreux diffusant de l'air sous forme de bulles et qui est relié à une pompe extérieure insufflant de l'air via un tube d'entrée d'air. Le dispositif comprend également un réservoir. La sortie du coude est adaptée pour se prolonger jusqu'à la partie supérieure du réservoir qui renferme une matière filtrante. Une sortie est reliée à la partie inférieure du réservoir. Le dispositif peut être mis en oeuvre pour en faible coût de revient. Le dispositif de l'invention permet en outre d'obtenir un niveau élevé d'oxygène dissous et une bonne filtration.
