Weatherboard system for fixing overlapping sidings, comprises a first weatherboard (7) having a slot (4) into which a fixing block (5) is provided that receives a nail (45) that passes through the inner most board at the overlap, wherein the block clips to the outermost weatherboard at the overlap in a groove (12).
