The multipurpose weight ballast for toy gas filled floating balloon which can be easily and economically manufactured due to the use of any suitable light weight material . The ballast is made with a strip(s) of adhesive wide enough to secure the ballast to the balloon. The weight is in the form of attachable piece(s) that can be arrange to form shape that are three or two dimensional , which give the balloon a new appearance such as a gondola which would make the balloon look like a airship. The ballast can be 11 one piece that is folded and trimmed or several pieces that are joined together to form a variety of different shape(s) .Alternatively the weight ballast can be manufacture by heat forming vacuum molding or any suitable process such as used in packing or manufacturing. By trimming the ballast, adding or removing piece(s) the angle and height the balloon will float at can be adjusted to maintain a fixed position.
