This patent applies to a wheel motor which generates a propulsive force through the use of a chambered or segmented tire. Consider a standard automotive rubber tubeless tire with, say 12, independently inflatable rubber bladders arranged in place of a normal tube. Then by increasing the pressure in one of the chambers in contact with the ground but not centred on flue ground contact patch, the wheel will rotate as it "falls" off of this higher pressure chamber. By continuous adjustment of chamber pressures continuous rotation can be obtained. Similarly these chambers or segments could be filled with other fluids or expansible solids.
