A whipstock (1) having a longitudinal axis and comprising: a tapered face surface, at least part of which is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis, for guiding a milling head (7) as the milling head passes from a top end to a bottom end of the face surface,- and a deflecting arrangement protruding from the face surface and having first and second deflection surfaces (46, 47), at least a part of each of the deflection surfaces being raised above the face surface and each of the first and second deflection surfaces being inclined at a greater angle with respect to the longitudinal axis than the face surface in the region of the deflection arrangement, wherein the first deflection surface (46) is located closer to the top end of the face surface than the second deflection surface (47).
L'invention concerne un sifflet déviateur (1) présentant un axe longitudinal et comprenant : une surface frontale conique, dont une partie au moins est inclinée par rapport à l'axe longitudinal, servant à guider une tête de broyage (7) lorsque celle-ci passe d'une extrémité de dessus à une extrémité de dessous de la surface frontale ; et un dispositif déviateur dépassant de la surface frontale et présentant des première et deuxième surfaces déviatrices (46, 47), une partie au moins de chacune des surfaces déviatrices faisant saillie au-dessus de la surface frontale et chacune des première et deuxième surfaces déviatrices étant inclinée par rapport à l'axe longitudinal d'un plus grand angle que celui de la surface frontale dans la région du dispositif déviateur. La première surface déviatrice (46) est plus proche de l'extrémité de dessus de la surface frontale que la deuxième surface déviatrice (47).
