A wipe (100) for capturing ordinary dust or dirt and heavier particles such as sand is provided that includes a first wiping member (200) bonded to a backing member (300) along valleys (110), whereby the wiping member (200) includes a plurality of discrete peaks (120) and an adhesive (250) is provided, in one embodiment, in the valleys (110) and not on the peaks (120).
